Soap carving


"I" of GAIN and I carved soap in preparation for Valentine's Day. The Scrooge in me likes to say, "Singles awareness day." We're planning a family day, because Mr. GAIN can profess his love to me any other day and have it be more meaningful than a day that culture and society chose for him. That's the anti-consumer in me.

I thought of carving soap with my kids. I remember carving a fish out of soap as a kid. I'm sure if I dug around at my mom's I'd find that she still has it.

We're totally with you on this. V-day is possibly the most over-rated holiday. We'll be having the typical family night after mass also. Have fun! PS..I'm still trying to grasp the concept of scrapping 25 pages in one day!! you rock!
